At a special meeting of the School Board on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, the Board voted to rescind regulation GBE-R/JHCC-R related to the use of face coverings (masks) as a COVID-19 mitigation measure in Alexandria City Public Schools, following the state legislature approval of Virginia Senate Bill 739.
