Mission Statement

Labyrinth, first published in 1967, is a literary and creative arts magazine run by and for the students of Alexandria City High School. Born in a time of changing social dynamics, the magazine continues to represent the diversity and creativity of the entire student body. As a team, we are dedicated to preserving the legacy of self-expression that Labyrinth has created over the years. We look forward to upholding this tradition at ACHS.

Our mission is to further inspire and celebrate the talent of our students by showcasing their creative works. From literature to visual art, Labyrinth spotlights the individual perspectives and passions of our ACHS community, whether that be emotional, political, cultural, spiritual, or otherwise. We want the magazine to serve as a creative outlet to let students’ voices be heard.

A spring issue of the magazine will be distributed at ACHS and published on our website, labyrinthmagazine.com.

Submissions of poetry, photography, ceramics, short stories, drawings, videos, musical compositions, and other creative work to our email address, labyrinthmagazine@gmail.com, are welcome!
