Day By Day by Sarin Suvanasai

Day by day, I carry these men away from their wives.
Day after day, these men beg and plead for their lives.
Drip by drip, these men sweat and bleed on my flood.
Drip after drip, these men slowly break as we reach the shore.
Scream by scream, these men cry and pray.
Scream after scream, these men are desperate to stay.
But they cannot, for this is a new phase,
and these devils will beat them until they only see haze.
What can I do? I’m not the one responsible.
I’m just the ship, the damn ship that brought them.
