    Titan Debate Team Advances to Nationals

    The Titan Debate Team for this year includes Francisca Pitterle, Kate Griffis, Sophia Bassingthwaite, Zion Foulcard, Madison Enow, Maryam Niazi, and Angelina Martinez. Francisca Pitterle and Sylvia Rahim make up the varsity policy debate team for the school and will be competing in the nationals competition to represent our school. The topic for policy debate for this year is the resolution that the United States federal government should substantially increase its protection of water resources.

Woodson in a convincing victory, 46-31, this was the last time the seniors would play a regular-season game at home for the home crowd before post-season play begins.     I published a google form for students to fill out according to their best interest in Christmas movies. The options were Home Alone, The Grinch, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Elf, The Polar Express, The Christmas Chronicles, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, Jingle All The Way, A Christmas Carol, and The Man Who Invented Christmas.     Students speak on Travis Scott dispute over recent Astroworld Festival

    News about Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival has broken out throughout multitudes of social media platforms and news channels. Many are concerned about the incidents that took place and the tragic outcome of 9 confirmed deaths and over 300 injured. People that attended the concert have filed at least 17 lawsuits against Travis Scott and others involved with the event to hold them responsible for the crowd surge. This has led to public concern about how previous Travis Scott concerts were handled.

    Rolling Loud is one of the largest hip-hop festivals and was founded by business partners Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler. It occurs every year in different locations in the United States. It began as a one-day event in Wynwood, Miami, Florida in 2015 and has now expanded to a 3-day festival that stars different artists every year. General Admission tickets begin around $400, and all ages are permitted.
