    Opinion: Is the World’s Finest Chocolate Really What It Claims to Be?

    The “World’s Finest Chocolate” candy bars are a staple among many ACHS club fundraisers, like the Orchestra Department or Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). The bars come in boxes of 60 and are sold for $1 or 50 cents for each chocolate bar. The most commonly sold flavors are W.F. Crisp, Dark Chocolate, Caramel, Wafer, and Almond. I ranked these five chocolate bars from my favorite to least favorite.

    New Mural Showcases School History

    Students in Beth Coast's art classes as well as other artistic Titans have been designing a mural about the timeline of Alexandria City High School, spanning from the school’s opening to present day. The mural will include important events such as in 1967 when the first class of T.C. Williams graduated, the success of ACHS’s football team in the 70s that inspired the hit movie Remember the Titans and more recently, the Covid spike and name change from T. C. Williams High School to Alexandria City High School because of the Black Lives Matter movement.

    Photo Story: 2022 Fall Play

    The 2022 fall plays, One Slight Hitch by Lewis Black and Chicken and Biscuits by Douglas Lyons, premiered from November 11 to November 19 of 2022. The plays were executive directed by Leslie Jones and executive produced by Hope Bachman. The plays were student directed by junior Yahney-Marie Sangare and student stage managed by junior KD Bectel.
