Even though Alexandria City played hard against W.T. Woodson in the first round of the boys’ basketball district tournament on Tuesday night, the Titans fell short, 52-44.

Senior Seth Harold led the Titans with 11 points and sophomores Teko Bostick and Kye Robinson each scored 6 points.

The Titans kept it close for three quarters, but the Cavs pulled ahead in the fourth quarter behind consecutive three point shots, solidifying their victory, and moving on in the district tournament.

Sophomores Thomas Farrow and LaVontae Kalifa were moved up to varsity from junior varsity for the district game.

The Titans will play in the Regional Tournament next week, despite their loss this week.
