Tropical Smoothie Cafe Review

With warm weather approaching, I’m sure we’re all looking for a good way to cool off. My favorite refreshing treat is a Tropical Smoothie Cafe smoothie! With a wide variety of flavors and customizable ingredients, these smoothies are perfect for hot summer days. I’m a Tropical Smoothie superfan, so I’ve tried almost every smoothie on the menu. Here’s a rundown of my top five.

Coming in at number one, we have the seasonal Watermelon Mojito. A fruitful blend of watermelon, strawberry, mint, and lime, this is my go-to on hot summer days. If you want the perfect combination, pair this with the edible lime straw.

A close second is the Island Green. The Island Green tastes healthy and delicious with spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, and banana. If you’re worried about the taste of spinach and kale, don’t worry, the pineapple and mango mute the unpleasant “green” tastes.

Up next is the Kiwi Quencher, a mix of strawberries, kiwi, and non-fat yogurt. This smoothie is surprisingly sweet and my favorite to pair with the Hummus Veggie wrap. I’m usually not a fan of yogurt, but the strong fruit flavors mask the yogurt taste.

In fourth place is the Blimey Limey. This smoothie was a close contender for third place. I love the burst of lime and how it blends with the strawberries and pineapple. The only downside of the smoothie is the orange juice. Sometimes the orange juice is just a little too sour for my liking.

Last but not least, is the Sunrise Sunset. This smoothie is a popular favorite among my peers. It has the same ingredients as the Blimey Limey but without lime, which is kind of the saving point of the Blimey Limey. Overall, there’s nothing wrong with it and it is a great summer or spring staple.

Tropical Smoothie has many more honorable mentions such as Mango Magic, Blueberry Bliss, the new Strawberry Daiquiri, the Pomegranate Plunge, and the discontinued Red Sangria Smoothie. My least favorite smoothies that I would not recommend are the Bahama Mama, Avocolada, and the Nats Berry Crush. I’m so excited to drink all of my favorite smoothies this summer and I recommend giving Tropical Smoothie a try!
