    Recap: Winter Sports Ends Strong

    While the season did not end the way the team wanted it to, with a loss in the regional semifinals, a 13-12 record was still a huge success compared to the previous season. Athletic Director James Parker made a great decision with the hire of coach Darryl Prue who turned this basketball program around and brought respect to the program.     Erg Sprints 2019

    Over the course of the day there were 1000 rowers competing, over 300 cheering spectators, 200+ volunteers and 160 ergs. Sweat, pain and dedication all went in to the the 34th Annual Erg Sprints in the T.C. Williams gymnasium.

    When Senior Dennis Mensah came to the United States at age 10, he barely spoke English. Now, eight years later, he is headed to James Madison University on a full scholarship to play Division 1 soccer.

    Boys and Girls Basketball Advance to District Finals

    The boys basketball team beat Hayfield 48-38 and the girls beat Annandale 68-50 in the district semifinals. The boys finals will be held on Friday, February 15 at 7:30 at West Potomac High School. The girls district finals will also be on February 15 at 5:30 at T.C. against West Potomac.

    Winter Sports Start Strong

    Swim and Dive is off to a strong start this year. The team won the Tri-City championship, an annual meet against intra-town schools Saint Stephens Saint Agnes (SSSAS) and Bishop Ireton (BI), for the first time in TC history. SSSAS has won the Mayor's Trophy for the last three years. TC has an entirely new swim staff this year--a change that was announced only weeks before the season began.
