T.C. Williams Director of Student Activities Named to Part Time Commissioner Role

T.C. Williams High School Director of Student Activities Steve Colantuoni has been named as Commissioner for the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference which is made up of 12 Catholic schools in Washington D.C.

Colantuoni will start the part time role in June. He will continue in his role as Director of Student Activities at T.C. High School while also serving in this new post.

“The next few months are going to be demanding. It’s a part time role but it’s going to take some time to set things up properly and see them working smoothly. I’m very excited at this opportunity to continue my work with schools. I relish the prospect of getting everyone round the table to move things forward and begin to make a difference,” Colantuoni said.

“Mr. Colantuoni brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in athletic administration and has established himself as a positive leader and educator in the high school sports arena. He recognizes that not only are high school sports an integral part of the educational experience, but that the lessons learned by high school student-athletes apply far beyond the field of play. We are extremely pleased to have him take on this leadership role in the WCAC,” said Dr. Marco Clark, WCAC conference president.

Colantuoni will be the third WCAC Commissioner in league history. He is a career educator with 36 years of experience coaching, teaching and serving in administrative roles in Virginia schools.
