T.C. Williams Increases Both Performance and Participation in AP Exams

ACPS has increased both participation and performance in Advanced Placement (AP) exams this year, including seeing the highest number of top scores of 5 since 2005.

School Board to Vote Additional Patrick Henry Funds

A Summer of Learning through Service for Middle School Students

This summer more than 200 students from George Washington Middle School, Hammond Middle School and Jefferson-Houston K-8 School participated in an enrichment program designed to help students enhance their skills in reading, writing, mathematics and social studies. The program was focused around the theme of service learning.

This summer, students in the Young Scholars program, designed for embarked on a series of outdoors adventures as part of their exploration of “systems.” The Young Scholars program serves talented students who excel in creative and out-of-the box thinking and are sometimes underrepresented in talented and gifted programs.
