Staff Encouraged to Update COVID-19 Vaccination Documents by Jan. 18, 2022

- ACPS

The Department of Human Resources is encouraging all ACPS staff to update their COVID-19 Vaccination documents to include their booster vaccination. As we work to keep schools open, it is critical that we have the most updated vaccine information regarding our staff and support staff to get a booster vaccine who have not taken advantage of this additional measure to protect them from this recent uptick we are seeing in COVID-19 transmission. This is particularly important with the recent spread of the omicron variant and the new CDC guidelines on quarantining which do not require quarantine for close contacts who have the booster and have no symptoms.

To that end, it would be greatly appreciated if all employees upload their revised vaccination status in TalentED Records by January 18, 2022, or as soon as you receive your booster vaccination. We thank you for your continuing efforts in safeguarding the health and safety of our students and staff. Please disregard this due date if you have already submitted your Booster vaccination or been granted a medical/religious exemption.

You will receive an email that you have a new task to complete in TalentED Records within 24 hours. To update your vaccination status in TalentED Records, please follow the instructions sent via email by Employee Relations on Wed., Jan. 12, 2022.

If you are unable to locate your vaccination information, you can visit one of the following DC-metro websites:

For those staff who have not yet scheduled their booster vaccine, there are several locations throughout the City of Alexandria where you can register and receive your booster vaccine. Please visit this website to sign up today: https://www.alexandriava.gov/Vaccines.
