Open Enrollment for Employee Benefits Begins May 1

ACPS offers a benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid leave, disability and retirement benefits. Open enrollment for benefit packages begins May 1 and will continue through May 31.

Open enrollment can be done online via Employee Self Service (ESS). ESS allows you to review your current benefits and choose your health insurance benefits for next year. Instructions on how to enroll online via ESS are available on the ACPS Employee Benefits web page.

No actions are required if you do not have any changes in your health insurance plans. If you do nothing, your current health insurance elections will continue. However, participation in the Flexible Spending Accounts requires new enrollment each year. To make a new flexible spending account election, you must make your election online via ESS or submit a paper enrollment form.

If you would like to receive personalized attention and assistance with benefit questions and enrollment, Human Resources staff and benefit plan representatives will be available at the following Open Enrollment Meetings:

Minnie Howard Library (for School Nutrition/ Maintenance/Custodians) Tuesday, May 5 from 2 to 5 p.m.
George Washington Middle School Library Thursday, May 12 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Central Office School Board Meeting Room Tuesday, May 17 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Francis C. Hammond Middle School Small Cafeteria Wednesday, May 25 from 3 to 6 p.m.
