The Office of Curriculum Design and Instructional Services is currently reviewing K-2 Reading (all elementary school) and K-2 Spanish Language Arts (for Dual Language schools) textbooks and instructional materials. All teachers, instructional specialists and coaches, and administrators serving students in grades K-2 are invited to attend vendor presentations and Q&A sessions. 

Presentations for the K-2 Reading Program
Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School
Wednesday, May 3
3:30 – 6:30 p.m. 

Presentations for the K-2 Spanish Language Arts (for Dual Language schools only)
Mount Vernon Community School
Thursday, May 4
3:30 – 6:30 p.m.

For each program, participants must attend all five presentations in each session in order to complete the feedback form. This requirement will be strictly enforced in order to maintain compliance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act and ACPS Procurement Guidelines.

Unable to Attend the Presentations?
Teachers and instructional staff who are unable to attend the presentations may review materials at their respective school sites, Textbook Services (604 S. Pickett St.) or ACPS Central Office (3rd floor hallway). Please work with the adoption committee member at your school to make arrangements to review materials at your school. Reviewers must sign in and complete the rubric for all vendors in order to submit feedback.
