ACPS Seeks Staff Input on the Evaluation of Services for Students with Disabilities

Multi Ethnic People Holding The Word Feedback
- News and Announcements

On Friday, instructional staff, special education-related service providers, paraprofessionals, and administrators, received an email from Hanover Research inviting these staff to participate in a survey that will inform the upcoming evaluation of services to students with disabilities.

ACPS values the input of staff as we reflect on the services that we provide to students requiring specialized instruction and related services.

Feedback from this survey will allow staff the opportunity to provide input into the focus and design of the evaluation. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Included are questions related to compliance and instructional areas of focus as well as evaluation methodologies. The survey will be kept completely confidential and Hanover Research will not provide any individual responses or identifiable information to ACPS.

This survey along with parent and student feedback will be used to develop a scope of work for the upcoming independent evaluation. Staff input will be sought throughout the evaluation process and will be critical in developing next action steps. The survey will remain open for two weeks.

If you are an instructional staff member, special education-related service provider, paraprofessional, or administrator and did not receive the invitation email with the survey link, please contact the Department of Accountability at 703-619-8032.
