Design Team Presents Initial Patrick Henry Project Designs

picsforPH2Initial designs for the new Patrick Henry School and recreation center were presented to the Patrick Henry Advisory Group on Wednesday evening.

The design team is encouraging community feedback on the three options over the next three weeks, ahead of drawing up a final option to present to the community in April.

Members of the Patrick Henry Advisory Committee will be soliciting feedback from the communities and civic associations they were selected to represent to pass on to the design team. Moseley Architects, PC, will incorporate as much of the feedback as possible in the final design.

The initial design concepts were widely praised by members of the Patrick Henry Advisory Group for taking into consideration the concerns of the neighborhood about traffic and entrances to the site. The group felt they needed more information about the concepts behind the designs.

The wider community will be invited to give direct feedback to the design team at the Community Meeting on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. through the use of clickers to demonstrate their support for various concepts in the three plans.
