As the 2021-22 academic year draws to a close, Alexandria City Public Schools’ (ACPS) Superintendent Dr. Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr. extends a sincere thank you in a brief end-of-year video message to the entire ACPS community to include students, families, staff and our community partners for all we have collectively addressed and accomplished this year and wishes everyone well for the summer.

In addition, for the June episode of his “Unapologetic Talk with the Supe” podcast, Dr. Hutchings hears from 2021-22 Alexandria School Board student representatives Emily Milton and Sylvia Rahim about their high school experiences, the work they have done for the community, goals for their future and advice for their fellow classmates. It is fitting to hear from Rahim with some final thoughts as she is now an ACHS alumna after graduating as part of the Class of 2022.
