Take the Family Engagement Evaluation Survey

ACPS is conducting a division-wide evaluation of family engagement from pre-K through grade 12. As part of our commitment to partnering with families in the education of Alexandria’s youth, the evaluation is being conducted jointly by ACPS and an external third party to help identify strengths and areas for improvement in engaging all families. The evaluation will focus on five main areas at the school level: relationships, activities and future desires, decision-making, school environment and communication.

You are invited to provide feedback by taking a short survey related to how your child’s school is engaging all parents and families. Your feedback will help ACPS better understand the resources and services that families need to fully engage in their child’s education and what barriers may get in the way.

The survey is available in English, Spanish and Arabic online. Paper copies are also available in English, Spanish, Arabic and Amharic at all schools. The anonymous survey about how your child’s school is engaging parents and families should take about 10 minutes to complete.

If you have more than one child attending a school in ACPS, please complete the survey for your oldest enrolled child, or you can complete the survey for each child separately.

The survey is open through Friday, March 29. We value feedback from our families and would like to hear from you. Please take a moment to take the survey today and encourage others to do the same.
