    The Alexandria Film Festival

    70 Films, Four Days, and Three Locations of Film Maria Areyan Hernandez, Bobby Sweeney, Kate Casper, and Luke Randall This year’s Alexandria Film Festival (AFF) featured a diverse variety of films, including hard-hitting documentaries, a selection of international films, heartwarming shorts, and laughing-out-loud comedies. This year the AFF welcomed DMV cinema lovers to enjoy four days of films from November 8 through November 11. More than 70 films were featured, starting with opening night at the Old Town Waterfront, additional screenings at Charles E.     Maria Areyan Hernandez, Regina Allen and Bridgette Adu-Wadier Homecoming, spirit week, football game parades; these are symbolic activities in the typical American high school experience, but have you ever considered how it all comes to be? The T.C. Williams Leadership Team is responsible for all special events throughout the school year.     Varsity Coach and Leader

    Lisa Willis has had a multitude of youth development programs dating back since 2005 while she was still at UCLA. Her programs started when parents and young players asked Willis for basketball help after seeing her play. When Willis was drafted into the WNBA(Women’s National Basketball Association) she created a program called Work Hard, Play Hard.

    T.C. Williams recently opened its doors to new science teacher, Timothy Anderson, who teaches Earth Science and AP Biology. He is a new member to the Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS), but has taught around the area in Maryland in the past.

    New Boys Lacrosse Coach Announced

    Dennis LaGanza, a three-year player for the Division 1 University of Connecticut lacrosse team and longtime coach for Alexandria youth teams, is the new head coach of the T.C. Williams varsity lacrosse team, the athletic department administration announced on Tuesday.
