All ACPS employees should sign up for professional learning on October 14.
Sessions will begin at 9 a.m. Please plan ahead for travel times and parking as some sites will be hosting multiple sessions.
ACPS is committed to developing, supporting and retaining a staff that meets the needs of every student. Professional development days are a necessary and important part of that commitment.
Some examples of subject areas we have focused on in past years include:
- integrate literacy in the arts
- identify and support struggling readers
- support students with disabilities
- engage all world language learners to improve their speaking and writing proficiency
