ACPS is recruiting 10 qualified bus drivers we can train and keep — and we are willing to pay you a $1,000 referral incentive to achieve this goal. Recommend friends, neighbors, relatives, retirees or anyone who:
- Is 21 or older
- Has a valid drivers’ license, and
- Can pass the CDL license, physical and drug testing
We will take care of the rest
You and the person you refer will each get the $1,000 referral incentive if the person you refer is hired and works for at least 90 days in a bus driver position. You can refer as many people as you wish, but they must apply before January 11 and be hired by February 1, 2019. Incentives for people referred by more than one person will be credited to the first person who made the referral. All forms are stamped with the time and date upon receipt.
How will you get paid?
- Get your future bus driver to apply online before January 11, 2019
- Support your future bus driver through the hiring process to help them get hired
- Support them through completing their training
- See them complete 90 days as a licensed school bus driver
