As part of our commitment to health and wellness, the Real Appeal health and wellness benefit is available to members of the UnitedHealthcare insurance plan.
The free, step-by-step, personalized wellness program helps individuals lose weight and lower their risk for chronic diseases such as heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and more.
Employees and their spouses and dependents 18 and older who have ACPS UnitedHealthcare insurance and a body mass index (BMI) of 23 or higher can participate in the program at no cost.
The year-long program includes:
- a personal transformation coach
- an online portal with resources
- mobile app integration
- an online support group
The Real Appeal Success Kit, delivered to your door, includes:
- guides
- fitness DVDs
- a personal blender
- cooking tools
- a scale and more
The program offers everything you need to kickstart your weight loss and help you develop healthy habits.
If you have already enrolled and would like to become an active member, contact the Real Appeal Answer Center at 1-844-344-REAL (7325). You can start at session one or where you left off. Members who have completed the program can re-enroll in a second year by logging on to their Real Appeal dashboard and following the instructions for re-enrollment.
