Do you want to achieve the teaching professions highest honor? Apply for National Board Certification! Applications are being accepted through 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18.

Not sure if you are ready? Attend an information session on Wednesday, September 6,  4:00 – 4:30 p.m. at T.C. Williams in room A209.

A committee made up of NBCT leaders, our talent development director, and staff developer will make the final decisions about the cohort group based on a NBCT rubric as they review each applicant. All decisions will be made by 4 p.m. on September 22.

We are pleased to announce the 2017-18 cohort leaders. Michelle Hudgens, social studies department chair at T.C. Williams High School will lead our 2017-18 cohort and welcome our 2018-19 NBCT cohort. Melissa King, elementary technology integration specialist, will work with our ACPS NBCT renewal candidates. NBCT candidates continuing on into year two of the process will receive information from Michelle Hudgens on plans for the first meeting.
