Four ACPS elementary schools are being celebrated as some of the best in Northern Virginia.
Charles Barrett Elementary School, George Mason Elementary School, Lyles-Crouch Traditional Academy and Matthew Maury Elementary School have been cited as the top elementary schools in Alexandria by Northern Virginia Magazine.
The schools were weighted and selected based on 2015-16 SOL scores, advanced proficiency rate, SOL pass rates and free/reduced lunch percentage, according to Northern Virginia magazine.
Lyles-Crouch and Charles Barrett also ranked regionally in the top 25% of ALL Northern Virginia schools.
