ACPS is Asking You to Come out on March 13 to #TellCouncil to Fully Fund Our Schools

This week we are asking ACPS parents and the wider community to come out and advocate for the City to fully fund the schools in this year’s budget.

The City has a Public Hearing for the budget on Monday, March 13 in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 7 p.m.

Sign up to speak in advance.

Alternatively, you can sign up to speak on the night of the public hearing by filling out the sign-up form on the table outside the meeting room and handing it to the clerk BEFORE the meeting starts.

Currently $2.1 million of the ACPS Operating Budget is not funded in the City Manager’s proposed budget. In addition, there is a gap of $238.1 million in the requested Capital Improvement Program Budget.

The City Council is scheduled to vote on the budget on May 4. View the City’s budget timeline.
