Agency linkages are critically important for students with special educational needs as they prepare to transition to post-secondary education, training, employment and independent living.

Davian Morrell, Robin Crawley and Marilyn Morrison conduct this workshop which provides parents and students with an introduction to three key agencies: The Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services, the Community Services Board of Alexandria and the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance of vaACCSES and Social Security. Each agency presents a basic overview of its services, intake process and process of determining eligibility. Recommended for students ages 14 years and older and their parents.
