ACPS salutes our substitute teachers as we celebrate National Substitute Educators Day today (Nov. 19). Substitute teachers continue to provide quality education to students in the temporary absence of their classroom teacher. They are flexible, resilient and dedicated as they provide continuation in a child’s education.
ACPS is currently recruiting substitute teachers. A substitute may fill the role of a classroom teacher for half a day, a full day, a week or even for several weeks.
