DASH Bus Rides are Now Free for All, Including Students and Staff

DASH buses are now fare-free. That means Alexandria City High School (ACHS) students no longer need to use an app or ID card to ride a DASH bus. They can just hop on board and get a ride to school and back home at the end of their day. In fact, all ACPS students and staff can use DASH to get around town and ride for free, every day.

Riders should note that the New DASH Network has made major bus route changes and all of its buses have been given new line numbers.

  • ACHS students will now experience increased bus service along King Street with the new Line 31 running every 10-15 minutes from Northern Virginia Community College Alexandria to Old Town.
  • ACHS students will also be served by the new Line 36A/36B, which runs every 15 minutes from Mark Center to Potomac Yard via the ACHS campus.
