Everyone has one, but not everyone wears it. Some people have replaced it with one with a little more flare or one that is more in keeping with their personal style. But, it is important that you wear your ACPS 2020 lanyard and here is why:
- ACPS 2020: Every Student Succeeds is part of our brand. It’s woven throughout our messaging in our schools and in our community. It’s reinforced through imagery throughout Central Office and in our schools. It represents our goals for our division and our commitment to fulfilling those goals. By wearing your ACPS 2020 lanyard, you are reaffirming that commitment and are playing an important role in communicating your commitment to ensuring that Every Student Succeeds to all of those you encounter.
- With their bright colors and large font, the lanyards are highly visible and easily recognizable, even when you badge may not be. This makes it easy for security and school staff to quickly identify you as ACPS staff. All staff members are required to wear their badges at Central Office. Wear yours in style with an ACPS lanyard.
- Having all employees wear the same style lanyard creates a consistent look and a sense of unity, no matter what your role is at ACPS.
- Parents and visitors who may not be able to see the face of your badge can see, even at a distance, that you are a member of the ACPS team. This makes it easier for them to navigate our schools and find help when they need it.

No worries. We have you covered. Just stop by the reception desk on the 6th floor and we would be happy to provide you with a new one. If you need a bunch for your school or department, let us know how many lanyards you need and we will set them aside for you.
