The ACPS Department of Financial Services has appointed Aleksandra (Aleks) Biskoup as Assistant Budget Director.
Biskoup has more than 19 years of financial management experience, with 11 of those years in a managerial role leading high-functioning teams. She has a proven track record of managing large and complex budgets.
Prior to joining ACPS, she supervised financial planning and analysis for the Office of the Chief Operating Officer at FHI360, an international nonprofit working to improve the health and well-being of people in the United States and around the world.
Her responsibilities there included leading the annual budget cycle for a portfolio of $800+ million in annual revenue programmed in the primary and secondary education, health, civil society and peace building, and emergency response service delivery.
Her collaborative approach, ability to problem-solve, and lean-in attitude will be an asset to ACPS.
Biskoup says she is is “thrilled” to join the ACPS family and is looking forward to “making a lasting change in the lives of our students.”
Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and working on DIY house projects.
