From the fall, Dr. Crawley will be a professor at GMU along with Anne Holton, Virginia’s former Secretary of Education and Spiros Protopsaltis, former deputy assistant secretary at the U.S. Department of Education.

Dr. Crawley’s career spans 37 years, including time as a teacher, a speech-language pathologist, an administrator, an adjunct faculty member and as our superintendent. His roots run deep in our region and extend far beyond. His tireless dedication to education has impacted families in Prince George’s County, Arlington Public Schools and District of Columbia Public Schools, along with Chicago and Boston Public Schools.
