Need a Little Support Over the Holidays? Call the EAP.

- Opportunities

As part of our commitment to employee health and wellness, ACPS offers free access to an employee assistance program (EAP) through which employees can get confidential solutions to life’s challenges.

Employee Assistance Program FlyerFor some, the winter holidays can be a time of great joy and celebration — spending time with family, embracing annual traditions, attending gatherings and giving to others. However, things that bring tremendous joy to some can be a source of stress or sadness for others.

For some, the holidays can bring feelings of loneliness or loss. Or they can serve as a reminder of what they don’t have or can’t afford. For others they bring a sense of overwhelm.

The EAP gives employees access to confidential emotional support provided by highly trained clinicians who will listen to your concerns and help you or your family members with a variety of personal issues, including:

  • Anxiety, depression, stress
  • Grief, loss and life adjustments
  • Relationship or marital conflicts

In addition to providing emotional support, the EAP can also help with:

  • Work-Life Solutions – including finding child or elder care, hiring movers, pet care and more.
  • Legal Guidance – for assistance with issues such as adoption, family law, wills, divorce, and more
  • Financial Resources – including help with retirement planning, budgeting and debt, insurance, bankruptcy and more

The EAP also offers online support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including articles, podcasts, videos, and access to “Ask the Expert,” for personalized responses to your questions.
