National Assistant Principals Week: April 4-8, 2022

- ACPS

The unwavering leadership of our assistant principals is being celebrated April 4-8, 2022, as Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) observes National Assistant Principals Week. Our assistant principals play a key role in student success and they gave their all amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They are a source of strength as well as an inspiration as they work to support our students, staff and families. “Our assistant principals in ACPS are dedicated, hard-working superstars and we are excited to recognize their outstanding contributions to our schools and students,” said Superintendent, Dr. Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr.

During this special week in honor of our assistant principals, ACPS plans to deck the halls with appreciation and honor their diligence and professionalism each day. Join us in thanking the assistant principals at your schools by using the hashtags #APWeek and #ACPSAPs on social media.
