Last Chance to Complete Staff Survey on Services to Students with Disabilities

- News and Announcements

On December 4, ACPS launched a staff survey seeking feedback about the services provided to students with disabilities as part of a division evaluation effort.

Staff from whom feedback is being solicited received a survey invitation and reminders from ACPS through Survey Gizmo asking for their participation. A final reminder is being sent today via email.

If you are a member of one of the groups listed below who received a link to the survey, this is a reminder to please complete the survey before it closes on December 20.

ACPS is working with an external evaluator for this project. The external research team has strict confidentiality policies and will not provide any data that are potentially personally identifiable to anyone within the division. The survey should take 15-20 minutes to complete. A final report of the overall evaluation is expected in fall 2018.

The staff roles included in this survey include the following:

  • Special education teachers
  • General education teachers
  • English language teachers
  • Encore teachers
  • Instructional specialists
  • Other licensed instructional staff (instructional and school improvement coaches)
  • Related service providers (occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech pathologists, etc.)
  • Student support service providers (social workers, psychologists, counselors, school nurses)
  • School-based administrators
  • Paraprofessionals
