Has Your Job Changed? The Job Classification Review Process is Now Underway

ACPS has begun its annual process where eligible employees can request to have their job responsibilities reviewed to ensure alignment with current job title and compensation. The classification review process will run from January 29 to February 22 this year.

Eligible employees who believe their duties and responsibilities have changed to the extent that their positions should be reclassified may submit a reclassification request to their supervisor or department head. Typically employees can request a review once every two years, unless their job changes in the meantime.

The department head will analyze the request to determine if it meets eligibility requirements. If approved, the department head will forward the request to human resources. ACPS has contracted with a neutral third-party to assess submissions and make recommendations.
