The last day for Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) health insurance open enrollment will be Fri., May 27, 2022. Now is the time for ACPS employees to review health insurance options for 2022-23 to make the best choices for you and your family. You can make changes, including enrollment in Flexible Spending Accounts through Employee Self-Service (ESS), at www.acps.k12.va.us/ESS. In-person open enrollment meetings are not being held at school locations or the Central Office this year, however, Human Resources staff are available to help with benefit enrollment online via Employee Self Service. Contact HRBenefits@acps.k12.va.us with any questions.
This year, the United Healthcare POS and QHP, CareFirst dental and EyeMed vision plan rates will not change. However, the Kaiser HMO rate will have a 9.9% cost increase. Please see the new plan year rates on the ACPS Benefits webpage.
Reminder: To continue participation in the Health and Dependent Flexible Spending Account, employees must enroll each year. The annual maximum contribution amount is $2,850.00 for the Health FSA and $5,000.00 for the Dependent Care FSA.
