ACPS salutes our substitute teachers, who continue to serve our students in the event that their regular classroom teachers are temporarily absent. Our wonderful substitute educators are flexible, resilient and dedicated as they provide continuation in a student’s education.
ACPS is currently recruiting substitute educators. A substitute may fill the role of a classroom teacher for half a day, a full day, a week or even for several weeks. Please consider applying for this essential role in our schools! This is the perfect opportunity for eligible candidates who enjoy working with young people but are not looking to take on a full-time year-round position.
