Mario Yach, a member of ACHS custodian team, won the award under the Building Engineers category for his diligent work\u2014 work that has kept the King Street building running. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt, the Interim Superintendent, explained that any ACPS staff member can nominate a peer, and then those nominees proceed to the next round of judging. &#8220;We have a team that evaluates all of the nominees, and then they select based on the criteria that we have.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Administrator Christopher Speich wrote the nomination request for Yach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the ceremony where Yach received the award, Dr. Kay-Wyatt read Speich&#8217;s nomination to all the staff members gathered in the main office: \u201cMr. Mario never complains: he just finds a way to get the job done.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Yach received a gift and a certificate for his diligent work for the Titan community.
