At the ACHS Music Department\u2019s Fall Concert on October 26, the Advanced Choir, Wind Ensemble, Virtuosi Orchestra and Jazz Band \u201cA\u201d performed. Each of these groups is the most advanced level of its ensemble type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ACHS advanced choir performed three songs: \u201cThe Lake\u201d by Jay Althouse, \u201cI Put a Spell on You\u201d by Bette Midler and Jaw Hawkins (arr. Jacob Narverud) and \u201cDefying Gravity\u201d by Stephen Schwartz (arr. Mark Brymer).<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Theodore Thorpe III, left, has been the ACHS Director of Choral Activities for over a decade. He directs the Advanced Choir, pictured, as well as the Mixed and Concert choirs.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
