They won 1st place with a superior rating. They received \u201cBest Overall Orchestra,\u201d and the Esprit De Corps award. This award is given to students who demonstrate superior behavior and for demonstrating good sportsmanship throughout the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orchestra director Veronica Jackson says, \u201cThis is an inspirational win for us because of the busyness of the month of May! It is rewarding to see how the students responded to the call to perform. It was truly a team effort.
