Prior to volunteering for ACHS he worked as a sports copy editor at <em>The Washington Post <\/em>for 15 years. Before that he worked as a news and sports writer for <em>The Baltimore Sun <\/em>and <em>The Washington Times.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He grew up in Burlingame, California and wrote for his high school newspaper. He later went on to continue his studies at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He also published a book on August 19, 2019 called <em>Mick\u2019s Bag<\/em>.
