Many teen girls agree that Centineo is hot despite his ever-expanding neck. Because of this fame, his Twitter account currently has 1.5 million followers, and despite playing the dumb jock stereotype in many movies, he attempts to use his Twitter account to share some true wisdom with the world.

The problem with his tweets is not his message—it is the way he phrases these tweets. Some great examples are “let go of that which does not serve you and that of which you do not serve,” “It’s adorable that you think you know. You don’t,” or “Sometimes the best advice is listening.” Reading through his Twitter page can leave a person scratching their head. Yes, what he says is true, but also what is he talking about?

He has another genre of tweets as well that is similar but clearly distinct from the others–his romantic tweets. “If you can get me out my feels then you’ll have me in my feels forever.” This type of obscure yet sentimental tweet can make the average teenage girl swoon, but for all the girls who do not fall for him, it’s really easy to make fun of him.

More prime examples of his romantic tweets include “How long does it take to fall in love? It depends on how fast you jump,” “let’s fight your demons with mine,” or “give me your tears and I’ll frame them with my broken pieces.” He didn’t even write the last one, but you believed he did because his tweets are just so weird.

His Tweets have been mocked for a long time, but they recently resurfaced when he gave a speech at the People’s Choice Awards 2019. He somehow won an award so he thanked Netflix and his cast and crew, and then threw the internet for a loop with his conclusion. “It matters not what you’ve done but what you do with what you’ve done for others, thank you.” It’s almost like he invented a new way of speaking English that no one but him understands. Now because of his speech, he has become an internet meme and his tweets have only fanned the fire.

His acting talent is debatable, but he works well in the roles he is typecast for. He often stars in terrible teenage dating movies such as The Perfect Date, Swiped, Sierra Burgess is a Loser and SPF-18. For this reason, it came as a shock when the trailer dropped for the new Charlie’s Angels. In between shots of the new trio comprised of Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska, a familiar face emerges — Noah Centineo.

Noah Centineo and Ella Balinska in Charlie’s Angels.

In the trailer, it was very unclear who he is playing in the movie. However, during his brief appearance in the trailer, his character gushes about phosphorus and has Balinska’s character crushing on him. Clearly, this role is very different from any of his past movie roles, not only because of the size and scale of the movie, but also because he is not playing an idiot. He now strays far from his normal jock high school stereotype and attempts to play a science nerd. Centineo is clearly expanding his acting prowess and is now gaining more fame from his castings in bigger budget Hollywood movies. Now with Charlie’s Angels coming out of theaters and the sequel to All the Boys I’ve Loved Before coming out on Netflix in February, the spotlight is on Centineo and hopefully that means he will be too busy to go on Twitter.

Noah Centineo is a model turned actor who hit his stride with the release of the Netflix teen romance movie, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
