It\u2019s just as good as Steven Spielberg directing Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks should be. The fact that it\u2019s so predictably good makes it seem unworthy, but it\u2019s the best film in the group. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Director<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Will Win<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a first-year nominee, Christopher Nolan will bring home an Oscar for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dunkirk<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0Set during World War II, Nolan masterfully wrote and directed the film. \u00a0Suspenseful, moving, and intricate, the movie &#8212; and Nolan &#8212; is well-deserving of the award. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Should Win<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jordan Peele\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get Out<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was a revolutionary movie&#8211;a thriller, a comedy, and a social criticism. Its timely and powerful message was delivered effectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Actor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Will and Should Win<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similarly to Daniel Day-Lewis in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lincoln<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Gary Oldman fully immerses himself as Winston Churchill during World War II. \u00a0A performance that is head-and-shoulders above his peers, it is arguably better than his showing in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Actress<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Will and Should Win<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frances McDormand. She carried a movie that was overly ambitious and at times chaotic in one of the most moving and believable roles in recent memory. Among many great roles, McDormand\u2019s is exceptional. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Supporting Actor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Will Win<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Woody Harrelson. Harrelson\u2019s character, a small town police chief, challenges the movie\u2019s audience while delivering a relevant political message. And it\u2019s played expertly. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who Should Win<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sam Rockwell.
