Once again this year, ACPS is conducting a survey of parents, guardians and community members to measure their perceptions of the division overall and in relation to areas outlined in the ACPS 2020 Strategic Plan<\/a>. We rely on your feedback through this survey to learn what we can do better. The launch of the survey was announced in today\u2019s ACPS Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How the Survey Will Work<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The survey is available online in English, Spanish and Arabic. ACPS parents with a valid email in our system received an email invitation to participate in the survey last evening. It should take no longer than five minutes to complete. Electronic reminders will be sent out periodically throughout the survey window to these parents.<\/p>\n

Paper versions of the survey have been supplied to schools this week in all three of the online languages as well as Amharic. They are also available at city libraries, recreation centers and at City Hall.<\/p>\n

How Staff Can Help\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Responses to this survey effort historically have not been representative of the overall ACPS population. ACPS wants to hear from all families and members of the community.<\/strong> Please encourage parents, guardians and community members you know and encounter to take the survey and let their voices be heard. All responses are confidential and survey takers are anonymous to ACPS.<\/p>\n

How Information from the Survey Will Be Used<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Data from the survey will help inform the division on how our parents and community perceive ACPS across a range of areas. Data will be reported at the division level and will be reported out in the coming months.<\/p>\n
