This is a special transfer process limited to the West End Elementary School only. The opportunity to transfer to other ACPS schools will be advertised in February, as usual.<\/div>\n<h3><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Licensed employees who are on annual or continuing contracts are eligible to enter the Licensed Transfer Process.&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>The following employees are not eligible to transfer:\n<ul>\n<li>Employees holding a temporary, \u201cend of year\u201d contract.<\/li>\n<li>Employees who received unsatisfactory ratings on the most recent summative evaluation during a previous year.<\/li>\n<li>Employees who are currently on a plan of improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Having\u00a0two or more &#8220;developing\/needs improvement&#8221; individual ratings on a completed performance review for the same school year (regardless of their overall final performance rating), may impact an employee&#8217;s ability to transfer.<\/li>\n<li>No more than 25 percent of current staff from one school will be allowed to transfer; however, that percentage could be less depending on division and\/or program needs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Timeline for West End Transfer Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0January 8:\u00a0 Transfer vacancies posted<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0January 15:\u00a0 Transfer application closed<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0January 17\u201331: Interview Period<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0February 2:\u00a0 Transfer selections made by principals\/program managers due to HR<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0February 5\u20137: Transfer offers extended to employees selected<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0February 9: Deadline for selected employees to accept\/decline offer<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0February 12\u201316: Notifications sent to those not selected<\/div>\n<h3><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>Complete the online\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/acpsweb.wufoo.com\/forms\/qlgx1j41tu6ctt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">West End Elementary School transfer application<\/a>.
