ACPS is hoping to host a unique chat with NASA moon geologist Noah Petro as well as a free screening of the Spielberg movie E.T. as part of the All Alexandria Reads event on Tuesday, May 10 at T.C. Williams High School.

To get everyone in the mood, we will be giving away ACPS prizes at the event to anyone who joins our Twitter scavenger hunt. This year’s books are all focused on the Space Race and in particular the race to the moon in the 1950s and 1960s, so we have designed a Twitter scavenger hunt to help you discover a little more about space. This is how we met Noah Petro – a real-life moon geologist who works at NASA Goddard as a scientist on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission.
