{"id":1131,"date":"2016-04-15T16:21:17","date_gmt":"2016-04-15T20:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/?p=1131"},"modified":"2016-04-19T13:55:05","modified_gmt":"2016-04-19T17:55:05","slug":"workforce-affordable-housing-unit-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.acpsk12.org\/staff\/workforce-affordable-housing-unit-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Affordable Housing Unit Available in Alexandria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Alexandria&#8217;s Office of Housing has announced the availability of a workforce affordable set-aside unit in Alexandria Crossing, a community constructed in 2010 that features nine workforce affordable home-ownership units.<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"http:\/\/www.e4realty.com\/homes\/3909-Old-Dominion-Boulevard\/Alexandria\/VA\/22305\/61489285\/\">two bedroom, one-bath unit<\/a> is priced at $303,973 with a low monthly condo fee of $164, and is available to first-time home buyers only (no ownership in the most recent three year period).<\/p>\n<p>The City can provide income eligible households up to $50,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance through the Flexible Home-ownership Assistance Program (FHAP).<\/p>\n<p>City and ACPS employees may be eligible to receive an additional $10,000 in purchase assistance through the Employee Home-ownership Incentive Program (EHIP).<\/p>\n<p>Higher income home-buyers (up to $104,250 for a 2 person household) are also eligible for this purchase, but no FHAP assistance can be provided.
