Lipnick Special Education Parent Resource Center (PRC)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, located at the Minnie Howard Campus of Alexandria City High School.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch this new and highly informative video that shares the support and information that families can get from this center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/620048120\/de5b516d59\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VIDEO: Anne R. Davis. That changes as they benefit from the resources at PRC. \u201cWe help them from feeling hopeless and helpless to figuring out what are the next steps we can take to support our child,\u201d added Parent Support Specialist Janet Reese.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PRC is a safe space where the parent of a child with a disability can learn how to navigate ACPS and what kind of services are offered for their child. Simultaneous interpretation is available. The PRC lending library has more than 500 books, DVDs and CDs to review, with information across all disabilities, and a children\u2019s literature section that reflects the cultural diversity within ACPS.
