Theogony Announces 2010-2011 Leadership!

Theogony, the student-run media organization at T.C. Williams High School, has announced its leadership for the 2010-2011 school year. Rising seniors Lee Anderson, Maeve Bracken, Samantha Donis, Justice Jones, Liam Malakoff and Matt Reiber will assume positions next year as Theogony’s Managing Directors with responsibilities for content delivery in publishing, digital media and television.
Theogony’s Managing Directors have demonstrated solid academic achievement. They participate in an extensive range of extra-curricular activities at, and outside, T.C. Williams including varsity athletics, student government, competitive whitewater kayaking, and Scottish dance.
Anderson and Reiber will oversee digital media operations. Bracken will be responsible for publishing operations and Donis will lead business affairs. Jones will be primarily responsible for public affairs and Malakoff will lead creative initiatives. Malakoff said, “We gained a lot of momentum this year at Theogony. I’m excited moving forward with strong leadership for next year.”
Theogony publishes news, features, editorials and other items of interest to the T.C. Williams community in print and online at tctheogony.com. Theogony also sponsors contests, polls and similar activities. The Theogony staff will also produce and host a monthly panel discussion television show on ACPS Channel 71 that will air every month beginning this fall. The television show will air as a joint activity with the T.C. Williams Television Production classes taught by Ms. Vilma Zefran and in coordination with Dr. Morton Sherman, Superintendent of the Alexandria City Public Schools.
