Dos and Don’ts This Year at TC

Do: Get your backpack ready the night before
Don’t: Be late for class
Do: Pick a seat in the middle row near the door
Don’t: Pick a seat in the back so you can sleep; you will be caught
Do: Try to figure out the fastest way to your classes
Don’t: Find the fastest way to your friend’s classes
Do: Use the elevator if you are injured
Don’t: Buy elevator passes
Do: Try to get to lunch as fast as possible
Don’t: Go to your friend’s lunch instead of your own
Do: Try to figure out how your teacher grades tests
Don’t: Try to figure out how lenient your teacher is by forgetting work
Do: Try to sit by people other than your friends
Don’t: Sit by different people because they are smart
Do: Ask questions in class
Don’t: Ask irritating questions in class
Do: Be willing to talk about a variety of subjects
Don’t: Talk incessantly; it’s annoying
Do: Get a pass to go to the bathroom
Don’t: Skip class after going to the bathroom
Do: Pick up the latest edition of Theogony
Don’t: Insult the writing of anyone on the newspaper staff; we’ll find you
