Green All Year

I hope all of you had a chance to see our school exhibits at the Alexandria Earth Day Celebration at Ben Brenman Park this past weekend.  Unfortunately, I had to go out of town so I missed it, but I understand it was a wonderful event.  This year’s theme was “Teach (green) Learn (green) Live (green)” and highlighted what our children are doing to make Alexandria an eco-city of we can be proud. Kindergarten Registration… Registering Early Helps

I hope regular visitors to my blog will share this week’s article with friends, neighbors and co-workers who are new to Alexandria or have children starting Kindergarten in the fall. We want to be sure that the information about kindergarten registration is getting out to everyone. Given our increases in enrollments, our new Modified Open Enrollment policy, and limited space, please work with us to assure that all families with eligible kindergarten children receive accurate information.  Registration kicks off today, April 12.
